LABORATORY FOR FINANCIAL INNOVATION

Live the Napoli FinTech Lab experience. Acquire new skills, develop a fintech project in an Open Innovation logic, or develop your own business idea.

Candidate requirements

Open Innovation Path

For the open innovation pathway:

  • Students enrolled in Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programmes, graduates (Bachelor’s and Master’s) and workers, preferably from economics and STEM fields of study and employment.
  • Age under 30.
  • There are no additional formal barring criteria.
START-UP PATH

For the start-up pathway:

  • Candidates with no age limit may participate.
  • They must have a high school diploma or equivalent title.
  • The start-up team must consist of at least 2 people.

Enrolment in laboratory activities is also compatible with engagement in other university studies and/or work activities. Participants are asked to make a part-time commitment. After assessing the requirements and suitability of skills, the Lab encourages the participation of women.

Open Innovation Path

For the open innovation pathway:

Submission of applications

  • Applications are sent directly on the Napoli Fintech Lab website.
  • All information on how to send in applications and material is included in the call for applications.
  • Deadline for sending applications: 23:59 of 30 October 2022.
  • The same applicant cannot apply for both the open innovation and start-up pathways.

ENROLLMENT

Registration fee and costs

The Laboratory is free of charge. There is no registration fee for the selections. There is no cost for enrolling in the programme once you have passed the selection process.

Selection Process

Applicants will be assessed by a Selection Committee composed of members of the Department of Business and Quantitative Studies of Parthenope University and external individuals designated by the Laboratory’s partners.

For the open innovation pathway, the selection process consists of three stages:

  1. First phase: verification of compliance with the requirements of the call for applications and evaluation of the CV and qualifications submitted.
  2. Second stage: performance of a logic-psycho-aptitude test on a digital platform, without the need to go to the university site.
  3. Third stage: candidates considered suitable will be called to the University of Naples Parthenope site to attend a Talent Day, during which candidates will be assessed for their skills and problem-solving abilities on business cases in the Fintech field.

For the start-up pathway, the selection process occurs by assessment of the submitted materials and cognitive meeting.
