The Laboratory, involving students in professionalising training courses, has as its mission the experimentation of new concepts of financial products and fintech services characterised by value propositions consistent with the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations.
The Naples Fintech Lab provides two distinct and articulated paths in different modalities, both with respect to the access modalities and the proposed activities. The two paths are the following:
Specialised advanced training course on financial intermediation and Fintech, data analysis, technological innovation, python programming, Design Thinking, Digital design and functional analysis, aimed at training for real fintech projects, suggested by the laboratory partners. Participants develop fintech solutions, both in terms of design and the technological-digital dimension, working in interdisciplinary teams with the help of a technological partner.
Specialised advanced training course on Business Design Thinking supported by counselling sessions with sector experts to prepare a pitch to be presented to the Laboratory partners.
A young student, while attending university, can enrich his or her CV and experience close contact with leading companies in the sector, creating prototypes of financial products and services. The Lab can also recognise an internship with training credits.
A young startupper can find in the Lab a place to develop his idea and present it to leading companies in the financial sector.
A young worker, while engaged in his or her work, can train and get closer to job opportunities in Fintech.
The workshop provides a unique learning experience.
Participants in the open innovation course will be able to develop skills in the fintech field and meet important representatives of the industrial, technological and institutional world. They will be able to learn more about new technological paradigms such as blockchain, artificial intelligence, machine learning and data science, as well as methods for the design and development of prototypes such as design thinking. Together with the Lab’s partners, participants in the open innovation path will work in multidisciplinary teams on real fintech projects, aimed at the creation of real working prototypes.
Startuppers participating in the start-up process will have the opportunity to work on their business idea through a training program on business design thinking. The idea will then be presented to the Lab’s partners. The startuppers will then have the opportunity to be incubated by the University, benefiting from the business and technological know-how of the Laboratory’s partners.
