Publication Opportunities

The Organizing Committee will carefully select a number of noteworthy papers presented at the conference for potential submission to the following distinguished journals:

Authors of selected papers will be notified by 31 July 2024. These papers will then undergo a rigorous blind peer-review process.

In addition to these opportunities, several other selected papers will be considered for publication in these prestigious journals, providing a platform for academic discourse and advancement in the field.

The Organising Committee will choose selected papers from those presented at the conference to be considered for publication with Bancaria, the scientific Journal of the Italian Banking Association. These papers will then go through a blind review process.

The conference organizers, in liaison with the editor-in-chief of the International Journal of Finance and Economics (IJFE) Professor Keith Pilbeam, will invite the authors of 5 high quality papers from the conference to feature in a special section of the journal.

 In conjunction with the themes of the upcoming conference, there will be a special issue of the Corporate Governance journal. This edition is meticulously designed to align with the discussions, insights, and forward-thinking ideas presented during the conference, focusing on the challenges, innovations, and best practices within the sphere of corporate governance today.

In the rapidly evolving field of international business and finance, it’s essential to stay at the forefront of research and innovation. Recognizing this imperative, there will be a fast track publication dedicated to “Research in International Business and Finance” in an upcoming academic journal issue. This special track aims to spotlight cutting-edge research, breakthroughs, and scholarly debates within the realms of sustainable finance and economic policy.

Research in International Business and Finance (RIBAF) seeks to consolidate its position as a premier scholarly vehicle of academic finance. The Journal publishes high quality, insightful, well-written papers that explore current and new issues in international finance. Papers that foster dialogue, innovation, and intellectual risk-taking in financial studies; as well as shed light on the interaction between finance and broader societal concerns are particularly appreciated. The Journal welcomes submissions that seek to expand the boundaries of academic finance and otherwise challenge the discipline. Papers studying finance using a variety of methodologies; as well as interdisciplinary studies will be considered for publication.

The Journal of Economics and Business publishes high quality research papers in all areas of Finance and in closely related fields of economics. The Journal is interested in both theoretical and applied research with an emphasis on topics in corporate finance, financial markets and institutions, and investments. Research in real estate, insurance, and consumer finance is also welcome.

Providing a consistent source of in-depth information, analysis and advice considering corporate governance on an international scale, Corporate Governance: The International Journal of Business in Society (CG) focuses on knowledge development, practice and performance standards for scholars and Boards of Directors/ Governors of companies throughout the world.

The journal publishes a diverse range of substantive theoretical and methodological debates as well as practical developments in the field of corporate governance worldwide. The journal particularly encourages attention to the impact of changes of business/corporate governance forms and practices on people, and the sustainability of different governance models.

Articles that highlight models and structures that advance the interests, dignity and well being of all stakeholders, in a sustainable manner, are particularly welcome.

Title of the special issue: Insurance and sustainability: What are the threats and opportunities?

Global Business Review is designed to be a forum for the wider dissemination of current management and business practice and research drawn from around the globe but with an emphasis on Asian and Indian perspectives.

An important feature is its cross-cultural and comparative approach. Multidisciplinary in nature and with a strong practical orientation, this refereed journal publishes surveys relating to and report significant developments in management practice drawn from business/commerce, the public and the private sector, and non-profit organisations. The journal also publishes articles which provide practical insights on doing business in India/Asia from local and global and macro and micro perspectives.

To this end, Global Business Review invites contributions from professionals from both host and guest countries. Among the regular features are CEOs forum, policy debate, review articles and book reviews. Special theme focused and guest-edited issues are also planned.

Business Ethics, the Environment & Responsibility is a multidisciplinary business ethics journal seeking to advance knowledge, discourse and practice in relation to Business Ethics and Business-Society relations in the broadest sense. The range of contributions reflects the variety and scope of ethical, sustainability, and Corporate Social Responsibility issues faced by business organizations worldwide. We seek under-represented views and voices, with particular emphasis on scholarship contextualized in developing countries.

Applied Energy provides a forum for information on innovation, research, development and demonstration in the areas of energy conversion and conservation, the optimal use of energy resources, analysis and optimization of energy processes, mitigation of environmental pollutants, and sustainable energy systems. The journal publishes original papers, review articles, technical notes, and letters to the editor. Authors are encouraged to submit manuscripts which bridge the gaps between research, development and implementation. The breadth of coverage ranges from innovative technologies and systems of both fossil and renewable energy to the economic industrial and domestic use of energy with no or minor impact on the environment. Applied Energy is also concerned with the attendant problems of modeling and forecasting, conservation strategies, and the environmental, social and economic impacts of energy policies and usage, including climate change mitigation and other environmental pollution reduction.
